Suzanne Volpe, RN, BSN has spent more than 12 years doing what she loves: caring for people. Her career spans two distinct but deeply connected worlds: the intimate, relationship-driven environment of home health, and the complex realm of hospital administration. That dual perspective shapes every decision she makes at NW Private Nurse Partners.
Sue watched the home health industry move in a direction that troubled her: agencies growing larger, visits growing shorter, nurses scheduled back-to-back with barely enough time to truly assess a patient. The personal connection that drew most nurses to home health in the first place began to disappear. She knew there had to be a better way.
In co-founding NW Private Nurse Partners, Sue made a deliberate choice to do things differently: no insurance delays, no revolving door of unfamiliar faces, no rushing through a checklist. Instead, experienced registered nurses who take their time, build real relationships, and show up prepared to make a genuine difference.
Sue will be the first to tell you that nursing is not just what she does. It's who she is. She brings quiet attentiveness to every patient she cares for, noticing the small things a hurried nurse would miss. She lives and works in the same Chicagoland communities as her patients, and she takes seriously the privilege of being welcomed into their homes.
